Hera was born in the years before the Clone Wars, and when they broke out and Ryloth became occupied by the Separatists, her father, Cham Syndulla, led a resistance to liberate their people.

She led the company to the Twi'lek prisoners that were being used as a "living sheild" by Tactical droid commander TX-20. Gutkurrs, the company met a lost, little Twi'lek girl named Numa. They recieved heavy casualties and after encountering starvingĬommander Cody leading Waxer, Boil, and a Ghost Company trooper Before they got to the city, heavy fire from proton cannons forced the Acclamator ships and Jedi Master Mace Windu on one to retreat leaving Ghost Company by themselves to take out the guns and allow the transports to land. Under the command of High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Marshal Commander Cody, Ghost Company began boarding the republic gunships to land in the city Nabat. This made way for the ground assault and the Acclamator I-class assault ships were able to move in and free the planet. The Republic led by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, destroyed the Seperatists blockade surrounding the planet led by Captain Mar Tuuk. The Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded the planet, Ryloth and the Grand Army of the Republic was called upon.
